Growing up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, with the likes of Zabar’s, Barney Greengrass, and H&H Bagels at her doorstep, great neighborhood food establishments were ingrained in her everyday life – Mekelburg’s is her bringing this tradition to her now neighborhood of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, only better because, well, beer. She and her husband Daniel also pioneered the NY underground supper club movement with NY Bite Club. For the past decade, they displayed their unique and delicious tasting menus, which they will continue to showcase at Mekelburg’s during special tasting events, but their amazing porchetta will be available daily!
